Hi, I’m b. allusionary!
My creative journey started in my childhood where I wrote songs for a girl group that I was in. By time I reached middle school, I realized that I preferred to be behind the scenes and transitioned into writing poetry and fictional stories based on my love for hip-hop and literature. At the same time, I had a strong interest in photography that began to peak throughout my teenage years. I could always be found taking portraits of family, classmates, and friends with a variety of digital cameras. Once I reached adulthood, I began to take the art of photography seriously and spent time learning to become the self-taught professional that I am today.
I want people to see and understand the beauty that we are all imperfectly perfect.
I started allusionaryart as an outlet for me to express myself and simultaneously spread love to people the best way I know how. My vision for my work – whether it be a photograph, a poem, a reflection, or a fictional story – is for its authenticity to be alluring to others. I want people to see and understand the beauty that we are all imperfectly perfect. We’re all trying to love our true selves and figure this life shit out…and thats okay. I hope my work allows people to relate to who I am, where my imagination takes me, and the beauty that I see in people.
